boat building made difficult
So I’ve had a boat for a couple years now… and it has been a nevernding nightmare from start to finish…
Don’t get me wrong I love it, but as the saying goes a boat is a hole in the water that you throw money into, and I haven’t even gotten it into the water yet. It’s been hauled up for years now with a few fairly major soft spots, cracks and holes in her hull which I just can’t seem to get fixed… it’s just one thing after the next. Hopefully I’ll get the work started on it soon now that I’m all moved back to Barbados from school over in Canada, but after that there’s the problem of what to do for a trailer… as I have no trailer for this boat… The best way to solve that problem would be to buy one, but that would run a fairly high price tag… higher than I am willing to pay… so that means another construction project for me… ahh… what fun. I don’t MIND the work, I just don’t have the time to do it in.
So… if I ever get this project moving, I’ll post the status on here… avec photos. Might be able to get some time this weekend or something to start the work along, problem is I don’t have a disc sander, which means I need to rely on someone else’s availability to get anything done… which is always a problem with anything.
